ANNUAL  ACADEMIC  SCHEDULE
The  new academic session of the secondary level begins every year in mid-April and ends in late March. There is a winter break of one month ( mid-December/mid-January ). The school remains closed for about two weeks on the occasion of Dashain beginning from Ghatasthapana to Kojagrat Poornima and for three days on account of Tihar from Laxmipooja to Bhaitika. There is a summer vacation of about two weeks (only for the students) at the end of the academic session, which generally falls in early April.

The school opens six days a week from Sunday through Friday. During the weekdays the regular classes are run between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. During the winter months of Mangsir,Poush and Magh classes are suspended half an hour earlier than usual time. For boarders and semi-boarders, extra classes are conducted between  6.45 ­ 9 in the morning and4.15 – 6.30 in the evening before and after normal school hours. At the higher secondary wing, classes commence in early morning at 6:30 and close at around 11 a.m. for other than students  of science  stream who stay back in the school for practicals.

Students are expected to attend their classes regularly. No student can be absent from the school without an application for leave from his/her parent/guardian. The names of the students who remain absent for more than two weeks without a valid explanation for absence may be struck off the rolls. In case of long sickness a student must produce a medical certificate.

The academic session of higher secondary wing,+2 however, will commence in July. Winter break for this wing will last only for two weeks and there is not any summer vacation.
