Moral Education

Looking almost anywhere in our world, it is easy to notice struggles between good and evil. These struggles start in the conflict between each individual’s mind and body. Even though the conscience may rejoice in acts of goodness, freeing the mind of guilt and self-doubt, the body constantly is inclined toward temporary self-gratification thereby nullifying the will to achieve the mind's higher aspiration and a person's full potential.

In this context, a new approach emphasizing character development and purity that engages students in self-realizing activities rather than "teaching by preaching" will be introduced in the school. It teaches children that it is wrong-not just unwise or unhealthy-to focus exclusively on things that bring personal, immediate gratification, neglecting consequences for our self-actions on the well-being of others.

Not every person can be proficient in mathematics or computer, or science; each has his own unique aptitude. But each young heart and mind can and should excel at thinking about and caring for those around them. It should be a civic responsibility. Only by giving special relevance to moral and spiritual education, can we hope to create national unity and true prosperity.
